A premium selection derived from the acorns of Spanish oak trees. During the summer and autumn months, these acorns release a sweet nectar, expertly collected by bees to craft this very dark, less-sweet and robust honey.
The oak tree, referred to as "Roble" in Spanish, is a notable deciduous tree that belongs to the beech family, a surprising association. Remarkably, some oak trees can thrive for over 1000 years! Bees are especially drawn to the sap derived from the tree's acorns.
Why raw honey differs from processed honey :
Raw honey signifies honey that has undergone minimal processing, going directly from the hive to the jar with little interference. In contrast, most commercial honey undergoes extensive processing to enhance its appearance. This processing often involves filtering out nearly all pollen, pasteurising at high temperatures, and blending with honeys from various sources.
This honey is NOT pasteurised or blended, to ensure your honey retains its vitamin, pollen and health benefits.
There are NO added sugars, added water, added colourings, added flavourings added preservatives. This is 100% Spanish honeybee honey nothing added- direct from Spanish beekeepers.
